About Glycopalooza
Glycopalooza is a dedicated initiative at the Glycobiology Annual Meeting focused on empowering the next generation of scientists through mentoring, career exploration, and community building. Designed to foster meaningful connections, the event encourages "mentoring up" by giving trainees the tools and confidence to actively engage with mentors, ask questions, and take charge of their career development. Through interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and informal discussions, participants can explore diverse career paths—both academic and industry—and strengthen their place in the vibrant glycobiology community.


Mentorship Program
As part of the SFG 2025 annual meeting, we are recruiting mentors to assist trainees in their personal and professional development. To participate in the Mentorship Program as a Mentor or Trainee (undergraduate, PhD student or post-doctoral fellow), please sign up and add Mentoring and Glycopalooza session when you register.
