Glycobiology Positions in the Stowell Lab at Harvard

Research Description
Postdoctoral and Scientist positions are available at Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of Dr. Sean Stowell.  Studies will focus on, but not be limited to, the study host interactions with microbial glycans, examination of innate and adaptive immune engagement of microbial glycans and the evaluation of host cell glycosylation on the regulation of immune cell function.  Specific projects chosen by the successful candidate will include the use of mouse models, microbiome analysis and translational studies involving human subjects.

Requirements
Candidates must have a M.D. or a Ph.D. in the biological sciences.  Ideal candidates would have experience in microbiology, immunology and/or glycobiology, with technical expertise in general biochemistry, genome sequence analysis and flow cytometry.
